a gameboy advance SP screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

a gameboy advance SP screen

Post by ganonbanned »

heres my situation: about a year ago, me and my friend were screwing around. my brother was in a bad mood, and my friend asked what game he was playing. he said zelda. my friend asked what zelda, and he wouldnt tell. my friend said"ty what game is he playing" i pulled it out. he got po'ed and smashed the SP on the floor. it sat on his dresser for about a year, and he just gave it to me now.

does any body know where to get one or what kind?

Well, if you just need the screen, try Xboxrepairguide.com, they don't have any in stock right now, though.

I have a GBA that is pretty much the opposite, with the board being dead.
Does anyone know if it is fixable? I think it was killed by putting batteries in backward(they were unlabled rechargables and I used tin foil to make the connection, and GBA didn't work anymore).

If it has a protection diode then it could have blown. I known because my dad hooked up a portable dvd player the wrong way round and blew it up in the same way, gave the dvd player to the guy in the electrical workshop at my work and he fixed it in less than 15 minutes. I offered him beer as a thankyou, he said he couldn't accept anything for such an easy job.
nice guy.
