SNESp -- Let me buy one off you.

Post by pwherman »

So, let's see here...it's over 2 years later, and I still don't have the SNESp I've been dreaming of. Well...not dreaming, but you get the point. Kinda funny, is it not? I'm gonna keep this short and sweet by asking if any kind individual would happen to have one for sale and/or would be interested in making one for cheap. I'm not really picky as to specifics, as long as it works perfectly and doesn't look like it was constructed by an amputee. Pictures of it and/or a video of it "in action" would be nice, of course.

And, as for a little trade bait, I have an SNES Super 8 (extremely rare Super Nintendo add-on that allows you to play NES and Famicom games on the SNES). I think that the NES portion of it was having some troubles loading games correctly, but the Famicom portion still worked perfectly. I think I bought a Famicom to NES adapter of some sort to remedy that. This was a few years back, though, so who knows. My sister has my SNES, so I really can't test it as of now. Either way, I'm sure that you (yes, you) are knowledgeable enough to repair it and get it back to 100% working order. I'd be willing to trade the Super 8 along with the cash to make it considerably cheaper. I also have a GameCube that I think I played ONCE. Yes, once. Maybe someone wants that to make a portable out of...a GCp, or something.

You can either respond to this thread or PM me. I know that it's a hard choice, so take your time and think your plan of action through. Thank you kindly.

DISREGARD WHAT IS WRITTEN BELOW. I'M GOING TO GO AHEAD AND LEAVE IT, THOUGH, FOR IT IS SOMEWHAT ENTERTAINING TO SEE HOW RETARDED I WAS A FEW YEARS AGO.
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

When I first dropped onto the fact that there was a portable SNES I was all 'whoa,' and my grandma, who was in the other room, was all 'wha?'

Putting that behind us, I'm too (do you kids still say) "retarded" to make my own SNESp[ortable].

If you have [an extra] one, please sell it to me!

I have a little bit o' money as of now, and if you're willing to hold one, or make one just for me (JUST FOR ME!), I'll probably buy it. Just give me an estimate of how much.

(I might be willing to give up my soul, or part of it, on a sheet of paper, a la The Simpsons.)

I also may be willing to part with one or more legs and/or arms. Pick your poison.

Thanks Joe!

I may be able to do it with $50 and a mini SNES and a PSOne (Sony or zenith brand, please) screen. I could do it on a smaller screen, but I wouldn't have me do it in your situation. Also, I will need a few bucks for a good battery, like maybe $30-45 for a li-ion (that is the good kind) battery. or money (maybe $25) for 6 ni-mh AAs(different from normal AAs, mind you!) and a charger So, yea.

if supplied with a psone screen and a snes controller i would build you one out of the original snes becasue i happen to have one, i am very skilled in using available space and it would be as small as possible and have a quality case, supply the screen, controller and lets call it 20$ for misc expenses and ill build it for just 40$ (or another agreed apon sum or trade) on top of the cost of parts, drop me a PM or message me on msn or aim if your interested

edit: snes normal mobo aint that huge, nifty

Well, $50 has misc costs included. Oh, and the mini SNES I think uses less battery power. I think it was like, half or something.

ive talked to him over AIM i think he as agreed to buy from me, grand total of a psone screen snes controller and ~70$ (at most 40$ profit by me) so im actually the better deal, snes minis are hard to get and expensive (sometimes over 40$) plus (and no offence to you of course) he can be sure i do fairly good quality work and have good experience at this

Heh, yeah, Triton is already doin it and it looks great in its crude state. (Looks as much as an original SNES as possible....awesome.)

Post pics when you're done.
