Do N64 games play around 30 FPS (on the console) or 60 FPS. Someone said that 3 FPS was 1/10 the speed, so i'm assuming the N64 used 30 FPS (just like Halo)

I get a constant 60FPS in EMUs (as I'm sure everyone does), but I don't know about the actual console...

i tried this sucker out on my friends psp ( he let me mess around with it and downgrade it) and i was pretty disasapointed from what people here were saying. this emu was much slower than ~20fps and far from playable in my opinion

What game did you try?
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

I was talking to Turbo, actually :P...I was wondering if he was running a game that usually has less fps than Mario 64 (which most do :().

i only get 6-8 in Mario...

but turbo, its amazing that an N64 emu is even playable at all right now. M64 has been in development for months and it still doesnt have the textures correct.

Monkey64's emulator is from scratch, though, while Daedalus is simply a port of some other N64 emulator...most likely, given enough time, Monkey64's emulator will eventually be better, since it is built specifically for the PSP :).

Until then, though, I'm happy with play on my good ol', perfectly working N64 :)...

i tried smash bros and mario 64

@Xiro i know its pretty amazing but this emu has a long way to go, in my opinion, in order for it to be playable

but norman is porting his OWN emulator, so he has more experience and can change the code and optimize it for PSP. i doubt m64 will be very much better

once the texture are fixed i believe they will be the same. In the beggining Daedalus is clearly better, but in a month or two, they will most likly be the same, and i bet M64 will be better. And im hoping the homebrew PS1 emu is getting closer to being done! PSPSone was it? That way, i won't ever need to upgrade :P
