CD Cover Software

After seeing "The Ancient Beast", it inspired me to get up off my lazy ass and get to work on my RPG. I really want a custom-looking CD thingy; you know, like where you take a burned CD and put a sticker-type-thing on it with a graphic you made and printed? Well that's what I want to do. I was wondering what software do you guys use for this application? Can you get any free CD cover making software? Also, where do you buy the sticky paper stuff to print it off on?

Use Nero or just buy a CD printing kit with software at Staples or some other office store.

I may, but I was planning on using my sister's art for the cover. She's crazy good at drawing anime, so she was kinda looking forward to making the cover. You guys may be able to help me with the sprucing up, though. And prizes may be involved, I guess.... This is all theoretical, though!

Are you making the RPG in an actual language? Or are you just making some crappy one in RPG Maker?

I'm gonna do a prototype game in RPG Maker 2000 to see how it'll run, then I'll program the actual game in Bloodshed Dev C++ this summer at Michigan Tech when I go for programming and EE.

I'm pretty sure GIMP gives you the choice to select cd cover as a template and then away you go.

I use Epson Print CD (came with my R200) to print onto printable CDs and DVDs. For tray inserts I use Nero Cover Designer (came in the OEM version of Nero 6 for my burner).

Or, even better, wait til after you have the game done to make the labels. Kinda hard to make a CD for something that could be vaporware. Just note from personal experience.
