PC Light Gun, but without spending loads of money

I have a PS2-PC adaptor, works with all PS1 and PS2 pads, and I have a Scorpion Light Gun, I'm not shelling out loads of money for a PC light gun, the buttons work, but the gun can't aim at all, is there anyway I can use my PS Light Gun on my PC without shelling out loads of money? There's gotta be a way, thanks in advance

Light guns usually don't work too well with computer monitors.

I think for a lightgun to work with the PC monitor you have to set up the refresh rate for the monitor to the same as the TV, which I believe is 60 hertz. I'm not too sure about this though.

Oh, and also a resolution of around 320x240 or 320x200 would work best probably, but no new games today go below 640x480.

Hooking your computer up to a TV is probably your best bet

most composite non-def TV's can go upto 800*600. Mine goes a tad higher.

My TV goes up to 1024x768, but its all blury. It looks best at 640x480. Oh, and this is using S-Video.

Your light gun won't work if you use an LCD. Newer Gun-Con 2 guns are USB. You can use the Gun-Con 2 with s-video out on your video card if you have an s-video to composite adaptor ($1) which probably came with your video card.

Go here and here, read the tutorials, adapt the hardware, and download the driver.

Hmm... this seems more and more likely to happen, and, I do have my PC hooked up to the TV

One Problem being, mine is a Scorpion Light Gun not a GunCon2.

I don't like double posting, but this needs a bump, I got a GunCon2.... go me!

How come the accuracy is bad? Still even then the cursor stays in the corner for some reason
