This time its mine! whooo

im 16 today which heralds the legality of many things!

i can now smoke, play the lottery, have sex, get married and ride a mo-ped!

ok so its not that big a deal

but i did buy a lottery ticket today, my science teacher gave me a quid to buy it on the condition that if i won he'd get half

Not much in the way of presents for me...

i asked for money and nothing but

i need it for "my old skates fell apart i need some new ones" fund

i turn 16 in july, but here in america all that means is driving (and i guess sex, but really that can be done at 12-13).

smokes are at 18 along w/ gambling at 21.

and you can get married at 16 without parental consent? wow!

Over here you can do most of that stuff too. Exept marrying and driving a car. (you can't drive a car till your 18.)

i can get my license at 17 which isnt too bad, but theres no way i'll be able to afford a car and insurance at that age

im still gonna get my provisional license so i can learn and pass the test but i prob wont get a car until im in university

so i can do all that but not drink alcohol.....seems a bit stupid realyl considering that everyone drinks illegally over here anyway

im for lowering the drinking age from 18 to 16, to keep it in line with everything else

Also i can have sex at 16 but not watch it till im 18...whats up with that?

My birthdays not until next February. *Sigh*

In Alberta the ages are:

14-Get your learner's license
16-Get your 'real' license
18-Smoke, have sex, etc.

I'm not sure if drinking age is 18 or 21...
