I though the Dreamcast died more from people waiting and buying the PS2 than having something that offered online gaming a whole what 3-4 years before they(Sony) get it going.

Xbox has a few good games that could hold it afloat, but it is true that Halo is the life line that is making the thing survive. Only problem it causes is to make Microsoft think they can still make it in the console market, your first year better be great otherwise your history. Sony was the only new contender that did that, recently.

When I meant 'Gone the way of the Dreamcast', I meant like stop producing them. It has been said by magazines like EGM, that if Halo wasn't a launch game, the Xbox wouldn't have lasted long.

Exaclty what I mean but the DC had awesome games unlike the XBOX sure there cool but the ps2 has the same ones

Keep in mind that a lot of that stuff they is is "what if" they cant prove it, maybe the Xbox could have stayed afloat on it own, but as Halo was released at launch and they have Halo 2 we'll never know. I say that as the PS2 has terrable launch titles (except for AC2) and look at it its the number 1 selling system of the 128bit generation.

You have serious problems halo wasn't xboxes life line. Microsoft can afford to prevent that because let me say (BILL GATES) duh! Dreamcast is still alive. Not on american soil though. Second of all I dont need to be argueing with a airhead-ditz.

Xbox has very few Excellent exclusives. If Halo wasn't going to be one of them at Xbox's launch, my prediction is it would lose them some money. If Microsoft saw that they were losing money because of the Xbox, chances are they would stop producing them. Halo is what made most people buy an Xbox (I've gone on Xbox Live before with a friend, and have asked why they bought an Xbox, most of them has responded with 'I bought it for Halo').

Also, if you don't wanna argue with an "airhead-ditz", then don't. It's your freedom to reply with an arguement.

Look you dont like a civil conversation about what the hells wrong with playstations when its obvious that Nintendo screwed the deal for the Playstation and you cant take it when you know your wrong.
