CL_ParsePacketEntities: End of Message

Post by SpearMan74 »

I get that message on both call of duty:united offensive(cpu) and call of duty(cpu). When i do multiplayer. It is completely random. Sometimes i can play for 20 minutes before it happens, or it will pop up before i can choose a gun. When it happens it shuts me out to the main menu of multiplayer. This is driving me nuts. There is no solution on the internet. The only thing i could do to make it go away is to actually go "into" the game and delete all the obsolete files, shrinking the size of the game on my hard drive by about 30 mb. That didn't even work.
Please.
Please. Its driving me insane. WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!?!

Edit: I left out some information. I've already boughten two new ones. I've uninstalled each one a good half dozen times each. I've been playing COD for about 6 months now. I did have a random one month period where i never experienced it.......

No i've known for some time google is my friend. I typed in all that i could think off. But SwordGun i think is right....is there anyway to reduce lag. I've got a fairly new cpu with the latest internet. I defragmented the drive a few months ago;do you think that would help to do it again?
What else can i do to reduce lag? (this is the only game i get this message in. Internets fast, and other games are fast too.)

Well most games have a: List where You can pick what your Internet is:

Dial-up
Modem
56/k
IDSN
DSL
High Speed

What ever you click, the game sets it self up to run on.

If yOu click High speed and you have DSL, thats lag right there.

and Some games to not Accept some type of internet connections.

and, It could be a just the game, (Get a Patch).

.....its not the type because i've tried all and gotten the message. It's not the patch because i've gone through the patch it comes with, and a new patch, +3 patches on the original COD.
I asked my dad about what SwordMan said about packets, and he figured it out and it probably chances are that the information "packets" aren't coming and going fast enough, and that i should call our service provider(adelphia) to see if something is wrong. I'm gonna do that sometime in the next week once track is over.

Thanks for all your help.
