are they actually gonna come out with some kind of AVout adapter for the PSP? that would be pretty cool............also, directed to kooldcman, the DS's graphics are closer to ps1 qualtiy, the psp's, on the other hand, are closer to ps2 quality.
which reminds of something I've been thinking about for a bit now......pro's and con's of the psp and ds. just real quick, not a huge post.....anyway, the psp has got great grpahics, a huge screen, an analog stick, and can play music, videos, and display photos. It's cons: barely any battery life, and the fact that it's games are basically just ports of games that aren't very original.....fun, maybe, but not completely original. The DS's pros: it's got a lot of innovative features, mic, two screens, and touch screen. It's got longer battery life and comes with pictochat, which is good while in class
. It's cons are that it's graphics aren't as good as the psp's and many games are just the same nintendo franchises using the new ds features. not that they're not good games, just more of the same being changed a bit.
sorry for the change of subject, it's just what was on my mind. From the looks of it, it seems to me that the psp and ds each have thier fair share of pros (major pros, not small little things) and their few cons as well.

Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Yeah I would buy a psp first too but my parents got me ds for christmas so ill have both.
I think they are makin an adapter for it but im not sure if its gonna be by sony themselves. I think if sony doesent make it some one out there will make a mod for it anyways.
When you said the games aren orignal wat did you mean?
Oh yeah and how many hours of battery life do you get.

well, what I mean by they're not original, is that those games aren't genre defying, or genre creating for that matter.......they're great games, but it's still the same.....shooter, racer, puzzle, RPG, same kind of games. they're not original in the sense that they're the same type of game we've seen over and over again....some of them can still be great games, it's just that they aren't creating any new levels of gaming, just taking the latest console versions of the basic gaming genres and making 'em portable. now the ds, that's a system with a whole lot of originality and especially potential, I'd really like to see a lot of fun games that use it's many feautures. (actually, WarioWare looks like a blast and it's got a bunch of cool uses for the DS's features.....I would've gotten it in japan, but the guy at the electronics store says the ds uses a region code......is that true?)
also, I haven't seen how long Ridge Racers lasts, but I think I've played it for at least three hours, and the system said there was still 3 hours left

Um...This is how Sony seems to work.kooldcman wrote:xxxeagle wrote:its harldly a souped up psone it is more like a ps2 thats the size of a handheld and it has ps2 quality graphics and online play so its way better than psone.cooldcman wrote
Because there retarded. All they are buying is a partially souped up psone what a waste of money.
Its graphics suck. There just like ps1. I have seen one. blah..blah..blah.. If it was a ps2p they would't of made a slim ps2 duh.!.!!
1. Release system and wait a couple years
2. Release smaller version of system to revive interest
3. Immediately release next system
This allows them to clear out their inventory of the old games much faster, and squeeze the last bit of cash out of the old system. Of course, we benefit as well.
I mean, look at what happened with the old PlayStation!
1. Release PSX
2. Release PS1(small PSX)
3. Release PS2
then we have what is going on now.
1. Release PS2
2. Release PS2 Mk-II
3. Release PSP
See a pattern?
Also, PSP isn't even out of Japan yet. DS is in America, and may be what you are talking about.
And one more thing...you don't seem to have the best start here. You have to remember that most(maybe not all), of the posters here are more well versed in gaming hardware than you are. After all, the point of this forum is console hardware and modification. Part of that job is keeping a close eye on existing and evolving game systems.
Instead of just blurting out something, please make sure it is correct. You can do that by looking online and searching for forums where that topic has been discussed.
Warranty-Voiding fun!
