battery question...
how would i be able to wire a battery to charge and be used at the same time? and does it matter what type of rechargable battery it is?
not nessecarily true, theres no reason why you couldnt set up an RC battery to chage while playing. it basically comes down to no one having really tried it before, and everyone is a little nervous they might make their portable blow up if they do it wrong.

well, it depends. if you are using a 7.2v delta-v charger, id think that having 12 separate delta-vs would probably confuse it a little. if you are just going for a timed charge, it should work fine though.
but then again, if you got a charger specifically designed for a 14.4v NIMH pack, then it should work just fine.
or, you could also use a delta-t... but youd have to incorporate the temperature sensor into your portable = more work.
and if you are going for the paralell discharge, you might as well stick a diode on both packs. i mean, diodes are like 30 cents.
