HELP, COMPUTER PROBLEM!!!

Post by CronoTriggerfan »

Okay, my friend was carrying my laptop with the screen open, and his elbow hit the keys in some way that turned my screen sideways and inverted my mouse! PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT!!! Sorry if this message sucks, because it's hard to type on a screen that's sideways.

Do you have an NVidia card?
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

Check Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced and see if there is any screen rotation settings. If not, then check the function keys. On my Sattelite Pro you use a "Fn" key and press a key with a yellow symbol on it. That's probably what the key was.

I don't know if I have an Nvidia card, it's an un-updated Dell Inspiron b120 laptop. I tried advanced screen options, nothing. My PC also has no yellow key for FN stuff. What did the symbol look like?

Well if you tip it over and rotate the screen you can see an entire page in Word, or a full-screen game of Pac-Man with no emptiness on either side... :P
