Today I finally wired everything together, and just the screen turned on. I figured OK no biggie, I blew a fuse on the PSone. So I sytematically check to make sure all fuses let approx 7.5 volts through, and I put a blob over the black one near the power jack. Now nothing turns on. period. My multimeter detects 7.5 volts straight from the wall jack and battery, but none of it is getting to the board once I plug it in. I've checked all my connections, I've tried directly soldering the adaptor to the board, and I'm desperate for any help. Oh, yeah. All the fuses I tested were OK. Sorry if I've missed something obvious, but I'm pretty much panicking by now. PLEASE HELP!!!
hey, when i looked at the part where you jumped the power switch well it looks to me like ya jumped the wrong pins... i jumped mine with the 2 pins farthest away from the led??
yes, bypass it to the vin on that regulator, mind you that it will also bypass the power switch, so if you still want a switch to be there, put a spst switch there. (I modded my first psone console with a spst submini from radioshack and put it back in the same case but with the submini sticking out the hole where the original power switch was, it looked so bootleg)
