Yes, that's the main problem right now. You're not THAT smart.

I was thinking you could have a sort of dumping system. Each piece would be composed of 4 seperate pieces like in the real game. When you form a like with the above method, it triggers a trapdoor that opens under the circuit and dumps the row out, letting the above row drop as well. But assembling them would be a challenge.

Maybe it'd also trigger a sort of gate that stops the above row from falling too.

That's the problem. With my idea, the light just lights up, and when you fill it up, you count the lit-up lights.
If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

I got an idea for the sensor just put it on the back

That way it wouldn't connect with the other pieces and it would create a circuit the way you want it then a wooden thing pushes them out.

The mechanical Pong is actually a good idea because its simple and it works.

On a side note: For copulate sake the errors are back again! Ok, don't panic...
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
