B/c i'm a thread jacker and i really need to know for deciding what computer i should get. And, why do you want to get these if you're going to be doing school work, a key board would make life a lot easier for you. Sometimes those screens don't pick up everything you right and make you sit there for hours writing a single sentence. You should probably get the sub pc, or just get a thin and light notebook as the companies like to call them.
To me it is I'm thinking about getting the Microsoft Ultra Portable PC. Do you think 1 GHZ is fast enough to do N64emulation. With the 512 MB ram i think it would make up for it. My dad's laptop is like 1.4 GHZ, 256 MB ram with no video card and can do N64,PS1, and lower emulation perfectly!

A 3d card doesn't matter in N64 emulating. Heck, my old TNT2 ran Project64 just fine, the bottleneck was my CPU speed. My 1.2Ghz Duron runs most games, but games like Donkey Kong and Tony Hawk run slowly, while Perfect Dark barely runs at all.
So, your dealio could probably do a decent job with most games. You could try using 1964 for the rest (it's a tad faster).
I would just want to play Zelda once and awhile, and also maybe school homework ....yea right Maybe i could try playing Halo at low-medium settings. I'll have to wait.
