If you have a protection circuit already on a battery pack, is it safe to wire two of the packs together in parallel? For example, is it safe to wire two of these in parallel or would you need another protection circuit?

you could probably just put a diode on each one to prevent them from charging each other. no need for circuits.

Hey thats an idea because they would still pump out energy but not charge eachother hmm I might try that with some different batteries!

I understand protection and all that jazz, I just needed to know if i needed more than just diodes. But, If i put diodes on the + lines than how are they supposed to charge?
