At current exchange rates that works out to about U.S.$28. Euros, euros!? I'm British... the Frogs & the Krauts can keep their monopoly money! No offence meant to any european Portablisers out there but you'll find that's the general view held by most Brits. We've been promised a reforendum on the Euro before the goverment signs us up for it, they'd better be prepared to get their collective A$$es kicked on that particular issue

I think you have the exchange right, but Britain was the only country of Europe that didnt want to change over to the EURO, so they still use pounds or whatever the USDollar equivilant is.

I think the game limitations are because of the ROM size. If a game is over 1 meg (20 address bits) then it won't work. It's possible they fit the 6 games on the built-in ROM using bank-switching. Also some of those games (Columns? Flicky?) can't be that big.

I wonder... it's POSSIBLE that there's more address lines coming off the GOAC but where are they? And do they need to run through those flip-flops?

In present state I'd say it works with enough games to be acceptable. What was it, about 80%?

Something else, even a game over 1 meg might work FOR STARTERS if it doesn't access the second Meg until later in the game.

That reminds me.....can we use a Sonic and Knuckles cartridge to make a circuitboard to do some of the computing and get the higher game sizes to work....

after all, since the Genesis carts use Odd and Even chips, maybe something can be done.....

At least this is different from the one I've seen....

Ben, is this the one you are modding or are you modding the other one(the one with the black box connected to the controller)?
