I think he means that when it happens it will be on a saturday. Not this upcoming saturday, he needs time to make the program.

Ya I knew that. 'Sure!' meant that the time worked for me, and 'over the summer too' meant that I wanted it over the summer. Not this upcoming saturday, I probably wouldn't be able to it anyways.
