May not be as cool, but it would be more practical. It's free, already in a good location, TONS of cool stuff do do/buy, and Ben may be able to come. Plus, we could always set up a Benheck table, which would be pretty cool  !

*sigh*

I don't really think much people live on the east cost, especially me, on the west coast.

We should just hold it in Kansas, that way we'd ALL have to drive far! Plus, it's fair. Smack dab in the middle of the country! Or we could take it a step further and hold it in Tokyo.......

Are you sure you guys just don't want to do it online? Seriously!

A few of the forum's members (including me) could make a flash program that incorperates mySQL into itself.

We could have a week for preperations, drawing up the booths, taking registrations for booths, registering for the actual convention...

We could give out virtual nametags, and therefore virtual prizes for whatever contests we could hold, such as Metroid Prime DS battles, and other things.

Alas, we could all have webcams! I have a flash script that can incorperate cameras (therefore video), and we could have a list saying "who's online," and we could create chatrooms and 1-on-1 conversations. We could also upload pictures of our portables and put them on our 'virtual' booths.

So what do you guys say? It may be a lot of work, but it's worth it in the end, we wouldn't have to bug our parents, or drive anywhere!

It should be fine if you dont have a webcam, that just makes it a little better. But if you have dial up, like myself it will be mad slow.

I like the idea of Kansas, becuase I live in Kansas city of course.
But really, most of you aren't young enough to drive so that really cuts down how many people could go. The logistics just wouldn't work out.

If we decided to get serious with the webcam idea, I have a few spare webcams.

Aren't YOUNG enough to drive? Don't you mean are TOO young or aren't OLD enough to drive? Because by your standards, I'd have to go back to days gone by to get my license  !
