Tetris Machine...?
I am thinking of a way to make a machine that can play tetris but all I can think of is magnets that mave in a certain way when you use the controls... Can you guys see if this is even possible cause that would be like the coolest thing ever!

Well, you could have the Tetrions submerged in a liquid denser than water, like snowglobe liquid (crystal glucose?). You could then have controls that shoot jets of liquid on the sides to turn the Tetrions. The only problem is how would the board be cleared when you eliminate rows?

Yeah. I suppose you could have a big barrel of about 2 FULL boards worth of pieces, and a magnet picks up 1 at a time or something.
For the pieces, you'd have to have them in sections, so that clearing each row would result in fractions of pieces.
Have fun reassembling them.
I don't think this idea would work too well. They do have a tetris board game somewhere. I don't think it's so great.
Stick to the gameboy, I say.

Magnets would somehow get them back up there and arange them into the correct blocks... like I said not easy to do.CronoTriggerfan wrote:A wooden block would be good to push them out, but how are you going to get them back up? that wouldnt work. the sides would have to be both conductive and insulated at the same time. What if theres a block or two on the line above it that complete the circuit?
maybe a laser on each line and the blocks have holes through them on all their sides like this:
but then the laser wouldn't differntiate between NO blocks and a line of them...

Yeah thats what we're talkin about and I'm thinkin now what if all of the blocks had areas were the electricity would try to go to the other side and when it created a circiut it would push th blocks out of the way and then go back >_> EDIT:Of course kurt i forgot that would be a problem... unless no wait that wouldn't work...NES_fanatic wrote:Wait, we're talking about a totally analog game of tetris? Maybe the sides of every block could be comductive so making a line closed a circuit that did [?]something[/?] to remove the line.
