Install the clapper to the Bulbs, and leave the switch in the on positon, Just clap to turn on light.

I had a problem similar to that. What I did is I took some Lego wheels (with the tires taken off), taped them to the wall in a convenient place. I then took some string taped it to the switch, ran it to a wheel above the switch, ran that to the location I wanted to turn my light on from, then back to a wheel below the switch, finally taped the other end of the string back to the switch. Tada! I can turn on/off the light from anywhere I can grab and give a little yank on the string!

I did something like this. I got a hold of those cheap little metal hooks, and put 2 or 3 of them on the celing/walls. Then run a string through it, and tie it to the switch, and boom! Instant ligh turnin' device. To turn the light off, run another string along the same path. But instead of tying it to the switch immediatley, put another hook underneath the switch, so the string pulls the switch down.

I agree, and yes I am aware I cant spell but I atleast check what I right now and it is not so hard to read what I read.

If you dont want to get a clap on then there are remotes that are simalar and cost less. Its the same idea but instead of clapping you just push the button. Tape the remote to the wall and your good.

Heh. Still barely makes sense. Why don't you do that from now on? Actually look over what you're typing, it's not hard.

There are also motion detector light switches that would turn the light on when something moves in the room.
