Well if it did come off we could invite vendors that are friendly to portalizers, have Ben come as the guest speaker and possibly even others like Kevin Horton, have a couple of workshops on methods of case building/finding and portable building. The only problem is will companies like the big N or the big S stop it from happening?

On one thread that talked about this, we go as far as the location. The location was narrowed to northern Illinois or southern Wisconson. Reason being is if we want Ben to show up he has to be with in driving distance.

As for virtual con... sorry never heard of it, and if no one has a web cam well then it's kind of silly.

Well, now that I got THAT fixed, let's get down to business

! How about Ohio? I know a lot of portablizers live in that area (Luc, G2, vskid32whateverhisnameis, etc.) and it's a good median for the whole Northeast. Ben may be able to make the trek out there, it's not too far. Illinois would be ok, too. I think it would be cool to see each other's portables for real, especially a real Benjamin Heckendorn portable! That would be pretty sweet.

Well sorry for all you people in the West or South, but it has to be in a location where Ben can attend. However cool it may be to have a real porta-con, a virtual one is sounding much more practical. Although if it were an issue of not enough people showing up, we could open it to classic gaming vendors to show off their wares, to make things more exciting. And I could bring a portablizing friend or two....
