I just got an idea how to make a battery holder for those camcorder baterries, though i'm not sure it would work.

Take 1 of these, and wire it to the power in on whatever it is that you are powering, then take the battery, and put it in the charger turned battery holder.

Do you think this would work?

EDIT: NOOOOOOOO! I just found out that http://www.power101.com only ships inside the US!!!

Do you know anyone that lives near the US-Canada border that could buy them and pick them up from them, or have someone anywhere in the US buy them and ship them to you.

since we're talking about batteries, if i had 4 li-polies n series, what type of protection circuit would i need if ithey're 2500mah. And would i wire them in series first and then to the circuit, or individual circuits

Hey, sorry I don't have any advise on this topic, but I do have something to ask. Khaag, can you not double post as much? Of course, you are new around here, but double posting 3 time in one topic, 2 of the 3 being in 30 minute intervals - is not something the mods are happy about.

Anyways, are all the Zenith game screens the same? (PS1,PS2,Gamecube,XBOX?) and will two of these batterieswork for powering the gamecube or will 14.8V fry it?

I love to answer these kinds of questions...I have a life, by the way.

Run four wires coming from the battery, two being output voltage (pos.) and the other two being ground (neg.). Wire one ground and pos DIRECTLY into the input of the Gamecube (or whatever regulator you're using). The others into a 7808[/i], which will output 8 volts for the screen to use. Follow a diagram for a 7808 to know where to solder to...just know that center is ground.

another question: would the gamecube battery power the gamecube and the psone screen (its actually a zenith PS2 screen, but i've been told they are the same thing) for an ample amount of time, or will they not even turn on?

it should give you between an 1 1/2 and 2 hours. You just have to make sure you use a 7808 with the psone screen. the gamecube battery has 12v and needs to be regulated down for the screen

but the gamecube battery will have enough power to run the gamecube and the screen right?

EDIT: Does anybody have any pics of the gamecube battery opened up? I'd like to see the size of its guts.

it's right except the intec battery has two seperate terminals for charging and using. just cut the connecter for the terminal that is used to plug into the gamecube, wire two cables from the positive and two from the negative. On one positive and negative pair, put the power connector back on, and wire the other + and - pair to a 7808 regulator. Positive into left part of 7808, negative to center and wire the third part of the 7808 to the positive in on the screen and ground the middle art of the 7808 to the screen's ground.

umm...whats the G on the PSone screen...it should just be "-"
