Internal Memory?

Post by vgcollector666 »

Can I hardwire the PSone Memory card directly onto the motherboard, therefore having internal memory, and no bulky memory card slot on the back of the portable?

Yes you can. If you're using a PSone motherboard simply wire the contact of the memory card to the contacts of the memory port. I do know that SegaSonicfan did this when making his PS2p. So if you need any help you can contact him.

Yeah, the only people I know to do something like this are a few of the N64 guys who hardwired their expansion slots.

Sounds extremely practical, I'd get one of those Memory Cards with mass storage, say 32MB (more than enough to ever need to use another Memory Card ever)
