Clones galore

Post by G-force »

I went to wal-mart today and saw a bunch of those plug and play TV games. The ones that caught my eye the most were a couple of new Space Invaders (or was it Pac-Man...) SpongeBob and WWF Wresting (*cough* CRAP!*cough*) games. They say on the packaging
"UNLOCK MORE GAMES WITH GAME-KEY! (sold separately)"
I looked at the "keys" they were selling and they were a small cartridge like thing. They are meant to plug into the slot and add on levels I guess.

I'm considering buying one once they get cheaper to if it might be possible to solder a 72 pin cartridge connector to the "key" connector and play NES games. Right now it's a total guess if it's possible or not.

Anybody know anything about these new TV games?

I saw this too, and I tried to count the pins on the cartridges. I don't think it had 72 or 60, but it may have had.

Most of those plug and play things are emulators, so I doubt it would be possible to hack them and put on a fami/nes cart slot. However, if you want to try, they sell them at Gamestop for $5. Their site even has them!

CTFan

(Gamestop also has Atari Flashback 2's for $5....big sale on crap! I don't know about the generation NEX, though.)

I have a receipt to confirm this. The guy that worked there was mad too because he wanted to buy it and didn't know that they were part of the sale. :D

Thats an insane price! I hope I can get one (assuming I can borrow some money. I don't have a penny to my name.)

What the hell? I'm loaded and I wouldn't lend G-Force the money.

Seriously, who would lend money to a random dude on the forums?

Anyone? Anyone at all?

Hey, through all the times I knew him, I'd consider him a friend. Of course not like I just went bankrupt then I call him up going "Can I stay over?"...but still, he's been a good guy to me, and I respected him and that...so yea, I'd consider him a friend. Any Brokeback Mountain jokes, and I will cut off the thing that defines your gender! Nah, I'm playing but please, it's not a subject you should make fun of, because it's not like that, and if you think it was like that, then you just might be a loser freak. But I'm broke beyond recognition, now it's just begging my parents for scraps for say the PP Genesis bootlegged controller, which again, I REally NEED.

I might lend somebody on the forums money if I already knew them in real-life. Like, if one of my friends at school signed up here.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
