Metroid Hunters Firewall

Well we got hunters. But the DS can't hook up to our wireless network. It's probably because of our firewall. I can't remember hte exact error code, but it was something like 351001 or something.

Anybody have similar problems? If not I'll google it and solve it myself.

Nintendo's site has an error code look up. Try getting online again, then go here and put in the error code you got:

my firewall makes everything but starcraft not work with multiplayer, that's probably your problem

Ok I need my WEP address from my wireless router.

I tried. The problem is, the wireless router is hooked up to another router, so I can't access the wireless one.

I tried hooking the wireless one directly to the internet cable, but then the internet doesn't work. I'm so confused. How can I get my WEP?

Plug just the wireless router in (to your computer), and change it's IP address to something other than the default. You can then plug it back into the other one and still access it to change settings.

Well, you cant just plug it in and expect it to work (in my experiance)...you have to install the drivers. What Router do you have? A linksys WRT54G(S) V1,2,3,4?....they're the best!

hey, btw kurt - while you were dicking around with the ds, you plugged a cable into the wireless router wrong, and crippled the entire network. no one has had internet since sometime last night, and i had to spend 15 minutes reassigning IP Addresses. i almost didnt get tool tickets (and then they sould out so fast i didnt get them anyways)

jeez, you probably just have to forward the port, ill do it when you get home.

for everyones information, our main router is wired, the wireless one is just an access point. the IP for the dlink (wired) is 192.168.0.1 and the wireless is 192.168.0.2. well at least it was. i still havent re-enabled wirelsss in our house... you can acess either router from any computer in the house without unplugging any cables...

I know the feeling. My brother recently went into my wifi router and erased all settings back to default. He was broadcasting out internet for free for hours lol unprotected. Luckily due to the reset none of th workstations, except the 360, were on th enetwork mecilessly sharing their files. My neibours were on my, 16 times faster than theirs, internet and I was really tempted to go into the C$ share and fill it full of crap. Anyway you to live together? Are you brothers?
