Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

The PSONE controller rewiring?

Post by demonofaj »

I was really perplexed by this, I mean like, it's been biting my *donkey* for a while since my HAZAAAAp. The rewiring of the controller. I thought it's something like this.

The thing is say command 'up' and ground, then solder to another part.

But the new controllers have this 'thing' it's like a sheet of paper with traces on it...attached to the main mobo...

Specifically for Atka, what kind of controller did he use, like what was the motherboard like, also is said technique in pic the proper one to do...

I'm not atka, but I'll try to help anyway. I believe the controller he used was an older one, and he scraped the green stuff off and soldered directly to the leads, but I'm not sure :( I'm doing this for mine, so I hope I helped.
