seriously, this forum is filled with so many threads, many being about something that could be answered on google easily, or else is just stupid. So we've reached 100 pages on F42 because of that. Hurray

.....

anyway, it's good to see that we all have so much to talk about, and yet, so little.

1 page of good topics to 99 pages of spam? Are you sure about that ratio?

If Ben or maybe the mods wanted to couldn't they get rid of all the older topics and thus cut down on the size of the database?

no, it's not really necessary, I was just pointing out that this forum constantly gets new threads daily, about anything. Which annoys me, quite frankly.

I mean, it can't really be helped since there are so many people on now (well, a nice decent number

) and in a forum where they can talk about something, they will *shrugs*...

Not to be a broken record, but we really do have waaaaay too much poo in here. Don't post every stupid idea that comes to mind; don't post because you feel you need to; don't post if you've already had trouble with the administration recently. And certainly don't post if you refer to yourself as "i" and don't use periods...

When I joined this forum had about 50 pages... now it's doubled size with a bunch of... um...

I really don't know why I bother checking forum 42 anymore.

Ya there is a lot of crap in this forum. Hey since its spring you mods can do some spring cleaning on Forum 42. But if you think about it, a lot of these posts have more than one page. Its not really crap if people answer to the question/random thing.

Yeah, 'tis a shame, isn't it? Most of the topics lately really have been random and just crap. If it doesn't actually spark a discussion, we probably shouldn't have it posted. That's my feeling anyways.

That I disagree with. It seems the most random topics get plenty of posts, just because they're easy to post in. So the length of a thread really doesn't indicate how valuable it is.
