washed out colors

i got my snes and psone screen hooked together
it powers on and everything and the video shows up but the colors are all washed out
they look almost black and white but they have a little color
any suggestions?

what are you powering it with? when i power my screen with a wall adapter the colors got all messed up

im using a 10v rc battery and a 7805

so you're giving it 5v? it takes 7.2v

Well are you using the 7805 direct input? Then it wouldn't work. Not unless the 7805 would be bypassed. But onless you got another regulator
most batteries would frie it.

Edit: clearer version did you bypass the 7805 of the snes and use another 7805. Or did you bypass nothing and used a 7805? In that case you need too bypass your snes 7805.

i have the battery going to the psone screen and then from the psone screen i have connections to a regulator and then to the snes

Wouldn't work unless you bypassed the 7805 regulator on the snes.

the regulator on the snes is removed
theres only one regulator

the screen needs 7.2-9V

Not directly I would use a 7.2v battery at 3300 from rat shack.

10 volts is to much for that screen try a 7.2 RC battery or even some AAs
