you can get drunk on coke, you can get drunk on anything

but its all a trick of the mind, a placebo effect

tests have shown that when you give subjects what they think is whiskey but contains no alcohol at all they will still show signs of getting drunk because they're body thinks its drinking alcohol so it thinks its drunk

they did the same thing with getting the subjects to smoke what they thought was marijuanna but was acctualy just a regular ciggarette

also if you get methyl alcohol poisoning.....you know what the cure is?

ethyl alcohol

so you have to get completely wasted on regular alcohol

yes! you can die by drinking too much water. its called water intoxication. it has happedned. it thins out your blood too much or something

yea, some guy had a tooth ache so he kept swilling cold water round his mouth to soothe it

he did this all day (swollowing each swill mind) and then collapsed because his blood was too thin. but he didnt drink enough to kill him so he was fine. the happy end

just shows you too much of anything is bad

As long as he was eating aswell he would of been fine. If your not taking MDMA you'd have to drink a hell of a lot in one hall of a fast time to have an harm come to you.

Doctors and scientists also do this when testing new over-the-counter medications. They give half of them a sugar pill (but not for diabetics

), and they give the other half the real deal.

Yes. Yes yes yes. The way that alcahol gets you drunk is by depriving oxygen from your brain! The gases in the soda, if gone the wrong way (like if you laugh while drinking it) will do the same and inpart get you drunk. It has happened. To me in fact. >_<

sorry, but i highly doubt laughing will send the gases into your brain...

You know how milk comes out of your nose when you laugh? soda does the exact same thing. along the same passages that bring oxygen to your brain. The liquid soda would come out of your nose, but the gases would keep floating and floating.

Im sorry the sinuses are not directly connected to the brain. Im not too sure what causes the intoxication of alcohold except I doubt those gases would even make it into the blood let alone get through th eblood brain barrier. Also your nasal passage is directly connected to the asophogus as well as the aural cavity. So you can breath throught it and you can drink through your mouth and up into your nose.

Oxygen deprivation is in no way identical to alcohol intoxication. Furthermore, you could not draw enough carbon dioxide into your lungs from a can of soda to cause any level of oxygen deprivation.

that would mean that if you inhale through the nose the gases would be pushed up to the brain instead of down, and you couldnt exhale through the nose or else CO2 would go straight into your brain and not out...

has anyone ever had Chery vanilla docter pepper. that is the best stuff. it's even better non diet but they only sell the onon diet in cans which my mom refuses to buy
