i have an old ps1 (the fat chunky kind) which no longer has the contoller pad boards and connectors.
is there anyway i can hack togather a new contoller board to get this otherwise useless psone into somthing useful again?

You can do anything with enough dedication...
I'd just solder a controller to the motherboard in your situation... as long as you don't care about it never coming unplugged
Well... you could desolder when you want a different controller...
I feel the need...

yeah but im pretty sure its not that easy.
the contoller board has 10 connectors in the socket that would normally connect to the controller board.
im pretty sure that there some kind of proccessing on the controller board whichim not going to be able to get around.
