Check out what I made in construction class

Please note that this was made at the beginning of the school year, and it is now towards the end. Of course, I wasn't joined up at Benheck yet, and just thought of showing it too you guys. Anyways, lets get on with it.

It was made out of a plain 'ol apple sauce jar, and with a bit of modifications, is a 1337 apple sauce jar!

Here we can see the Doom logo sand-blasted into the jar:


And here we see the ID software logo sandblasted on the other side:


(proving how much I love Doom)

We also reconstructed the lid using wood. Then we woodburned and painted it, and finally applied lacquer to it. Let's have a look at it:

Yes, I realized after I brought it home that his foot is a little messed up. *sigh*, oh well.

I don't have a picture of it, because I have yet to try it, but I think it would look really cool if you put an isolated light source inside, like a light bulb and battery inside a small, clear case, and then filled the jar with green food coloruing. Don't you think this would look like the acid hallways from Doom?

Pretty cool. You should add PS to the front of DOOM. Anyone here play that game? It seems fun, though the guy who played in my linux class ended up killing the terminal the game was in when he killed a bull demon.

If you do play it be sure there's nothing important, as you could crash your system easy.

Yup, id is going to knock iam7805's door and shank him, because he sandblasted "DOOM" on an apple sauce jar.

Seriously, even if they wanted to do something, what's the worse they could do? Maybe they could do something if I was selling them, but that's not going to happen.

Oh yeah, Quake pwns, I still play Quake 3 every now and then, great game.

Ha ha, nice bottle. You should buy som action figures and tear off their heads, put them in the jar for that real "Doom" feel. Then fill it with water and red food coloring if you want to go extreme.

It would be cool to put a Valve logo on a jar and put a rusty old water valve in it. Get a rusty barrel and put HalfLife 2 on it.
