JVC 3" display

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

JVC 3" display

Post by Rinku »

Ello.

Im new to even taking apart a NES, Much less a camara.. anyway..

I got ahold of a 3 inch (as far as i know, Color.) LCD display out of an old JVC camara, I was wondering if it was possible to use it as a display for an NES portable, And how i would re-wire it to work..

I wish i could get the info from the book.. But im short on cash at the moment(Plan on getting it though!), So any helpful advice would be very very helpful.

PSONE screen, or go to mcmelectronics.com and order the 60-9855 (something like that) or get a pocket TV.

No, a GBA screen will not work unless you have like 100 bucks laying around to mod it, and you don't. Aha! I found you a HipGear! This is a 2.6 inch LCD display, and are used in a lot of portables. Plus, it's pretty cheap. Grab it fast, though, it's Ebay! Here's the link:

Good luck!
