FREE .rm?

Is there any programs that can play .rm files?
(They must be FREE) and Provide a Link please.

well, due to viruses... google makes my comp freeze.

Yea one problem.... NO Install disk,

Oh I did a system recovery but... It only let me go back to like jan 06

Get yourself AVG antivirus, even if you already have MacAfee or Norton or whatever. I have found it to be just as good, if not sometimes better than, the commercial stuff. Besides, Grisoft gives you free virus definition updates! (You DO update the antivirus software you have, if you have any, right?

)

The best way to flush viruses is to plug the hard drive into another machine and run the antivirus software there, so nothing is running. However you will probably want to do it without messing around with anything, so here's what I do:

1. Disable System Restore. If you do not do this, and you try to roll back your system in the event of a crash, then you'll revive the old viruses.
2. Install AVG Free and update it.
3. reboot the computer and press F8 before the XP logo to boot into Safe Mode.
4. Run AVG antivirus, doing a FULL system scan, not any sort of "quick" or "smart" system scan. Have it delete everything it finds.
5. Run Disk Cleanup to purge the temporary data
6. reboot the machine normally and it should be fine. As long as everything is clean you should have no problems. At this point you should turn System Restore back on.
