Portable Dreamcast
I ordered a new PSOne screen off eBay. So once that gets here I'll do the LED backlight mod and then start making the case to complete my DCp! For those of you that don't know, I have completed the power supply for my project and I got the Dreamcast to run off of my battery for 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Last I heard he hadn't planed that into the design so, he's either leaving it out or it will be in the middle front. Right?

Oh snap, I’m back!
I haven't done much of anything with my Dreamcast since my last update. I've been super busy and didn't set aside any time for portables work. I have decided to put forth a little extra effort and try and finish this thing.
I was thinking about how I was going to have the VMU on my portable. I had originally planned on having a permanent VMU built in the portable with the screen just below the main LCD. However, I also thought about having it plug in at the top into the cd lid. Since I can slightly reposition the GD-ROM unit to allow more space at the top of the portable, I could have the VMU socket just above the LCD screen so it could plug in to the top and be removable.
The only problem with this is that my original plan had the CD lid opening just like the original Dreamcast. With this new idea I think it would have to open just opposite, from the bottom.
I didn't break my PSOne LCD, but that doesn't matter since it never worked anyways
I did however break my Gamecube LCD.
