Heh, I'm in grade 9, and I must say it's pretty easy, the only problem being Spanish, which is embarassing because my dad is a native speaker :D .

I'm Mexican, and my parents decided they weren't going to teach Spanish to me and my siblings. That is, they didn't ready us to be fluent. Combine this with my light skin and I was an easy target for the others (Mexs) at school. I honestly really don't care for the language--I only feel obligated to learn it because my (larger) family will whine that I'm a "blanco nino*" or some bullocks like that. Taking Spanish classes at school isn't really helpful if it's much more convenient to speak English at home. I'll be honest and say that the only reason in my mind to be fluent is so that I can communicate with the numbers of people who still haven't picked up on the native tongue of the U.S. I imagine one would have to speak and read English if he/she expects to survive here, applying to all foreigners.

The Spanish language, though culturally significant, still does not bear enough worldwide recognition in my opionion to warrant learning it. It's much more convenient to learn English (in the U.S., of course), but I'll appear as some kind of evil/freak to my family if I don't learn. Yay, everyone wins. (No, not really.)

*Nice catch?

I hate making As on tests, having an A test average and still managing to fail classes because of trivial work.

Ok, those sound bad. I failed 3 and a half classes in college. Each class is $866, so I wasted over $2000 of my college fund by being lazy. You have no idea how pissed I was at myself for doing that.

right now, colleges in ontario are just getting off a strike, and now all students are stuck with dozens of projects and tests to catch up on before the end of april (were lucky cause of no exams so we can go right to the end of the month).. now, because of the all the stress, ive kinda been leaving work in one assignment for a group project about as long as i could because the group hadnt given me any real due date other than the actual one.. anywayz, yesterday they decided to boot me out of the group.. Im just finished abunch of assignements and now I have to start one that my group of 5 people have been working on (on and off) since february, in one week.. if lucky my gf is standing by me and giving me ideas..

I have to create a working business plan for a product or service of my choosing, prepare the budjet, analyse the market/competitors and more.. im about 20% done tho in one day

have to say, my portable snes has been on hold for the above reasons lately..
