My Screen Won't Turn On

Timmeh, i just tried the LED mod on the battery alone. It works great; the LEDs make the screen quite bright.

When i bypassed the PSone board and ran the LED mod off of the main power lines alone, the LED mod still worked; however, what i really was testing was the LED screen itself. It still will not work.

I used the sockets that came with the screen and stripped the wires to form connections to the pins outlined in Nieldo's diagram. You can see a portion of it done at the bottom of one of my photos.

What things should i look for and/or change in order to make this work? Can anyone tell me which guide you used to make your own work?

well if the leds come on and the screen isnt broken, then all you need to do is hook up the comosite video and ground.

just use the pinout from the sticky.

I did using the original sockets as connectors; and when i wired the corresponding wires, it didn't work. Should i just toss the socket connectors and directly solder the wires to their corresponding pins?

It also looks like my screen is getting little power. Please explain to me where i solder the positive and negative wires coming from the battery. I tried the guides and they didn't help.

C'mon guys, i need help here...

If i used the bypass on the sticky (the one where the wire goes from the ground pin on the 1-12 socket to the 7805 on the board), would that make the screen work?

My LED mod works, and the screen does power up. I can tell because it flashes for a moment and then the screen goes black (however the LED mod backlight still works, so it's the LCD turning black). Would the method on the sticky work in this situation?
