Now that is uncalled for! Even though I might not agree with all of his actions, that is a bad comment.

It's not meant for electronics. From what I've gathered, it works like this: when you touch solder to its tip, it complete's the iron's circuit, and a huge amount of voltage is sent through the tip, creating instant high temperature, and melting the solder.

However, if you use this on your electronics projects, you're likely to fry something by randomly sending huge amounts of voltage through it from its solder joints.

So don't use it.

I've been thinking about that, BUT! If you are soldering to one little contact, the electricity is going to be going between one side of the contact to the other. If your careful not to bridge anything, shouldn't it not fry shiz (as someone once said around the time I joined).

Also, be careful about your bumpings, 1 hour is way to early. (24 hours, if you really need one)

Hey, is it Possible to Solder the wires directly to the contacts? (The contacts are on the Bottom of the Circut Board)
