2 questions (screen and battery).

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

2 questions (screen and battery).

Post by ransoman »

Ok so i am still contemplating my radica mega-micro drive project. I am still trying to decide between either battery life or screen size. so my first question:

I might go with the casio ev-680 screen (for battery life), does anyone know or know of a Uk equvilent? I have searched ebay and all i get is some crappy old 2.3 inch tv.

Second question is about the battery power. The psp battery? It's tiny, 7.2 volts, sounds perfect, However, when the charge runs low, will it drop out a 7805 regulator? AKA, will it drop below 7 volts?

Thanks.
