the project that has been consuming my free time for the last few days is the
gateway connected touchpad computer! i have soldered an IDE connecter to the motherboard and will eventually get a bigger CF card for it (has a built in cf cardslot) and probably use it as a carPC sometimes, it has 2 usb ports an rj45 and 2 rj11 connectors, no thernet at the moment but it can be added without too much trouble, i will probably use usb wifi tho, i plan on getting a usb GPS receiver for it as well, its got pretty good specs too, a 400mhz transmeta crusoe processor and 64mb ram standard, its pc100 SODIMM so its upgradable, which i plan on doing eventually, i am going to get a 512mb CF card on ebay and install windows ME lite on it probably, maybe 98SElite instead im not sure yet, i have pics too!! photos of the GCTP running DSL (damnsmalllinux) loaded to ram, booted from the dsl liveCD on a quadspeed cd rom drive. here are the pics! first pic is the gctp running a media player and playing songs from my SD cardreader, second pic is the same but the whole setup, third iis the SD cardreader and the IDE cable i attached
