Ok im trying to make a cardidge into a video/audio plug in for my sega (p) so I can use my game boy as a screen without have to take it apart or risk wrecking it I go these pinouts from I site for a cardridge but im not sure which ones are the audio/video could somone help me plz? heres the pinouts


1 VCC +5 VDC
2 ? ? Connected on Gameboy, but not used on GamePaks.
3 /RESET Reset
4 /WR Write
5 ? ? Used by paging PAL on high capacity GamePaks.

Your trying to input NTSC video into a GameBoy using the cartridge slot? That's what I understood anyways, and the short answer is you can't.

Unless of course you designed a circuit to decode the signal into the digital video format that the GameBoy needs, but then you could just use the screen alone anyways. :wink:
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

The answer is yes, but you need to make a special circuit to decode the analog video into digital video. It's possible, but not worth it.
