PTH08000 Diagram... Is it right?

I created it, is it correct?

Any who has a PTH08000, please try this schematic and respond with the voltage that's outputted.

i think thats right.

pin 5 and 6 are labelled backwards i think though. because the output is the top right pin.

Where is the positive output to the converter in your diagram (the one that supplies ~3.3v)?

Fixed it!

The point that gives ~3.3v is point/pin 6.

Shouldn't the output of pin 6 be positive? I only say this because the grey ground wire in your diagram attaches to both the ground on the cap and pin 6. I don't understand how there can be no positive output...

Is it nesesarry (sp?) for the diode to be a Zener diode? Would an LED work instead?

I'm not sure, I was actually thinking about this too. But an LED only ACCEPTS current one way, not forwarding it. So, to be safe, get a (NO ZENER) rectifier.

a zenier diode is a diode that allows electricity to go throught it backwards above a certain voltage...

i dont think you want a zenier.

i also think that the diode is supposed to be in parallel with the inductor... it dosent look like it does anything where it is.
