A Nintendo On A Chip. Basically people figured out how to replicate the hardware necessary to play most NES games onto a single chip (and some necessary support parts like resistors and whatnot.) They're typically found in cheap Asian pirate systems like the Super Joy. We sometimes call them such nonsense as Super Dun Joy Mech Game Happy Player Game, which surprisingly isn't too far off from some of their names.
