PSP Screen

I haven't looked at it nor do I know much about it, but a friend of mine said that he bought an a replacement PSP LCD screen a little while ago and could sell it to me fairly cheap. I was wondering if it'd work instead of the PSOne screen. It seems like it'd be sharper and a bit bigger, though if it's a difficult to wire or needs a lot of modification to work properly, I'd probably just stick with the PSOne screen. Thanks for any input.

No don't do it just use the psone screen that screen won't work without major modification.

I've seen some portable DVD players with external 7" widescreens (and yes, they have composite/S-Video inputs

). If you want a widescreen portable, go for those. Truth be told, they're about twice as expensive as PSone screens, but hey, stuff costs money!

No. Unless you can trace each wire on the ribbon cable, build a PCB to interpret and output data, and program the process...
