Just a few more Questions...

Tonight I'm going to Radioshack to get pretty much all the other stuff I need.
500 1/4 watt resistors $12.49

Here is the list of stuff. Right now I have unmodded screen, n64, and controller. Is there anything else I will need? Should I get 1 batt., or spend $25 more to get 2?
For charging, what is the max voltage I could use to just charge the battery? Will I need diodes if I charge the battery while not playing? How long does it take for the Battery to charge? What wattage iron should I get? Is ribbon cable big enough for the power, or should I use bigger wire? Your advice will be very helpful.

i think mine was 25w, not 20w, and that still didn't work

i use a 15/30w switching iron and it works great for everything. get one that's at least 30w

Gah radioshack is a ripoff...
Anyways, I doubt you'll actually need 1lb of solder, unless you plan on using it forever...
Also, desoldering irons help a hell of a lot for desoldering the cart slot, and the memory slot on the controller. You can always use copper braid though.

I know a lb of solder would last forever, I just put something, the store usually has a bigger selection. I need the power questions answered (please) because I'm going soon.

So would getting two batteries be worth it?

How much do you think a portable this style sell for? Thats what I plan on doing for mine. I won't sell immediatly, but I'll sell it and use the money to make another.

I got one battery because I didn't have enough money and I wanted to see if one battery would be good enough. I have made the screen run off the battery, I'm going to work on getting 3.3v from the lm317 now.
