www.parksabers.com would be a place to go to get blades. Heck, you could even buy the whole lightsaber there (if you had $250 to spare

Neato. Me and my friend made some handles a while ago from scrap stuff lyuing arond (just like the original movies). He used some neat gears from a busted lawnmower and I had a neat grip made from windshield wiper blades. (made it vader-ish.)

Ive got a great hilt, with a dowel with glow-in-the-dark stuff smeared on it, sticking out of it.

Ya, I made one of these a while back. One thing that makes a GREAT blade are those long sticks they stick in the ground by construction sites. You can buy them in various lengths and colors at hardware stores. They are also good because they are painted with a reflective metallic coat so they look somewhat like lightsaber blades. They are also pretty cheap, about $3-$5 a stick.

Well, my parents run a plant nursery, and the watering wands (the long metal thing at the end of the hose) tend to give out after a while. I just took a couple broken ones apart and screwed them together. Surprisingly, most of the skrewey things skrew together.

I'm actually making one, but completley out of wood. I'm going to carve EVERYTHING and the blade and hilt are going to be one whole peice of wood. Then when its painted it will be awesomely neato! Probably going to use glow in the dark paint for the blade.
