These services allow you to change the value on the script. I think hes got a script increasing it a random amount say 30-1000 or so every second. More likely 60-150 from what i have seen from refreshing. Theres no way he getting so many hits. The server is just coping with the bandwidth to well. He says hes got a cheap host and he would be on a shared server then with maybe more that 25 other clients. The hits number is about as real as silicon implants are.

Actually, when I was on last night, the site was crapping out a bit. I had some "this page cannot be displayed" errors, unless I refreshed a few times

Oh. Maybe he's changed the host? He does compain about that. I could speculate but im busy cleaning.
