hi, i'm new to the forum, tho i have browsed the site, (not to mention i have the book and i'm trying to make a PS1 portable and a DC portable) and i was wondering, has anyone heard of this console?

congrats you have a sears tele-games, its a rebranded atari 2600! the other i assume is a 2600jr?

haha, wow..... well, thats an interesting fact, thank you... and i guess its a JR because if its size. if the orig. atari was the size of the sears knock-off, then this is the JR. my mom got these at an auction today...the tele-games, 2600, and 5 controllers for 17 dollars. the 2600 has a power cord too, so i'm tempted to turn it on, but i'm also afraid that it might fry something.

Well the Atari just need something like 7-9 volts DC for power input. Frying it would requre something inexcess of 15v. As for the systems you have the top pic is a six switch. Be sure to see if it's a Sunnyville or a Taiwan made, Sunnyville would be something you shouldn't hack.

i'm guessing then the sunnyville version is a rare one? would that be why it would be best for me to not hack it?
