Irony is a b----

Post by demonofaj »

I gave up Yu-Gi-Oh 1-2-3 years ago (I forget), and yea, I gave up and sold my cars. My little brother wanted me to buy something for him from the comic shop, so...WTF? So I go and buy a deck of 'Random Surprise Cards: Yu-Gi-Oh edition', you know those hand picked made decks by the clerk. So he opens it, and the seventeenth card....Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon American Edition, and he got the Japanese edition, and I'm standing there WTF. I wasted my childhood looking for those cards, and here they are in front of my eyes, and now he's being an ass and pretending to rip them...boy irony is a b----, oddly I have all five pieces of Exodia  Darth Fett, if you're watching this...drooooool. So we're gonna trade (but I'll give him pirates  ) or he might just steal it....and how I got it...buy a box of LoD now, /nerd. :P

I never got into Yu-Gi-Oh. "One hit I do 3000 life points and kill your monster. N00b!" I never liked the premise of a pyramid making him hit puberty. It made no sense.

Oh noes, improper use of the word "irony" strikes again!

I liked yu-gi-oh for a while, then I grew genitals and noticed how lame it was. I think there's still a bajillion "rare and sought-after" cards decomposing in my desk.

I gave up yugioh a while back also. I had 3/5 exodia pieces. I sold some of them on Ebay and some to friends.

I really hope you mean anime because "japanamation" isn't a word.

"Japanimation" is as much of a word as "portablizing".

Portablizing is a subgenre of hacking and videogame system mods. Japanamation is a subgenre of anime that's just made for comic value with huge exagerations and cliches galore.

Bwahaha, I knew using a moderately fancy word like "subgenre" would swing the tide in my favor.

 moderately fancy? Simple word but anyways. Yeah I used to like yu-gi-oh but the card game is pretty fun... The show sucks except for battle city.

not as bad as this song, it makes me sick every time it's on the radio. The only thing ironic about the song is that she has no idea what the hell irony even means! GAAAAAH!
Alanis Morissette, the dumbass wrote: An old man, turned 98
He won the lottery, and died the next day
It's a black fly in your chardonnay
It's a death row pardon, two minutes too late
And isn't it ironic?
Don't you think?

It's like rain, on your wedding day
It's a free ride, when you've already paid
It's the good advice, that you just didn't take
And who would've thought? It figures

Mr. Play-It-Safe, was afraid to fly
He packed his suitcase, and kissed his kids goodbye
He waited his whole damn life, to take that flight
And as the plane crashed down he thought, "Well isn't this nice"?
And isn't it ironic?
Don't you think?

It's like rain, on your wedding day
It's a free ride, when you've already paid
It's the good advice, that you just didn't take
And who would've thought? It figures

Well life has a funny way of sneaking up on you
When you think everything's okay and everything's going right
And life has a funny way of helping you out
When you think everything's gone wrong and everything blows up in your face

A traffic jam, when you're already late
A no smoking sign, on your cigarette break
It's like ten thousand spoons, when all you need is a knife
It's meeting the man of my dreams, and then meeting his beautiful wife
And isn't it ironic?
Don't you think?
A little too ironic?
Yeah I really do think

It's like rain, on your wedding day
It's a free ride, when you've already paid
It's the good advice, that you just didn't take
And who would've thought?
It figures

Life has a funny way of sneaking up on you
And life has a funny, funny way, of helping you out
Helping you out
