and i was really sleepy, so i forgot to change sda to sdb. So now Windows XP won't boot. What can i type in console to turn it back to NTFS and make Windows boot?
Yes, I think its permanently screwed up now. Try the Windows Repair CD if you want I guess. There's not much you can do I don't think. If somebody wants to prove me wrong then go ahead though.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
If you can find it, get the Windows installation or recovery CD and type this at the prompt:
CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs
It should fix the problem. No guarentrees, but since you're basically dead in the water at the moment what have you got to lose?
If you can't find the install disc, you're basically screwed unless you can find a recovery console boot floppy set somewhere online. Now you see the great power of Linux and the responsibility it comes with.
Well, i found the CD, and have Windows reinstalled. I just formated and went from there. Anyway, my gfx are screwed up so much. Everything is like crappy looking. I need Nvidia 6800 drivers. And the text is blurry. (It's not me, its the computer)
I already did it before you guys told me that. I don't know what my Sound card is so now i can't have sound......I did use drivers from their site, and the text still sux
