To eBook or not to eBook... that is the question...

Ok, so here's my plan...

I'm planning my GCp at the moment and figured I might as well help the community out and develop a guide to doing it as I go along. Here is the thing though: I figured I might as well try to make a bit of money off of it (like $8 or $9) to raise some funds for developing new portables, which as you ALL should know is not C-H-E-A-P. Of course, professionalism, and accuracy would be a must. The thing I'm having a problem with is how will I distibute it? It would be nice to do it as an eBook, its just that I'm worried about a little thing called Piracy (or Stealing... call it what you will). I am not accusing anybody here or trying to insult anyone, but as you all know there are idiot boneheads out there that like to be boneheads and give stuff out for free... (ie. buying an eBook and then just posting it somewhere on the net where people can get it for free.) The other option I would have would be to take orders, then print it out on my computer and send it to the orderers (not sure if thats a real word).

Well anyways, I just wanted to know what you guys (and maybe gals) have to think about that.

well, you could use eBooks with DRM, but DRM is generally crappy. It limits the people who can actually use the book, and then they're most often limited to that 1 pc. If they have a laptop it's horrid

You could get a registered copyright and then if some jackass tries to copy it then the government can do something.

No, that is a good idea... it just seems like a lot of hassle. What do you guys think about me taking orders for it and then sending it to people via snail mail?
